My blogs from virtual journeys in this virtual world. I am a blogger and this is my domain. It’s mostly on Internet marketing, affiliate marketing and other make money online schemes but with a spiritual touch. I’m a born-again blogger and I interject inspiring blogs every now and then. My real domain, however, is in heaven. Everything in this world is virtual for this life is but a journey. The real destination of man, in his present natural condition, is damnation, an eternal separation from God. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ is often compared to other prophets and teachers, but He is the most unique person to ever live. Everything from His birth to after His death was miraculous and set Him apart from everyone else. Jesus was born by a virgin — a natural impossibility. Before His mother Mary was married, she was told by an angel she would give birth to the Son of God. When she asked him how this could be, he answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” Just as promised, the virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ, the most incredible person to ever have lived.
The Bible records that Jesus’ life was just as amazing as His birth. At 30 years old, He went out into the cities of Israel and began teaching and healing people. He was different from other preachers, for “the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” Likewise, there was no disease too great for His power. It says, “They brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments. and He healed them.” Threatened by His fame and authority, the political and religious authorities conspired to kill Him.
His death had been predicted over a thousand years before. The prophet Isaiah wrote of Jesus, “He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.” Jesus would pay the penalty for our sins so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. Just as had been predicted, Jesus was given the most brutal death sentence of that day for maintaining that He was the Son of God. While hanging on a wooden cross with spikes through His hands and feet, He prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Jesus had power to come down from the cross, but He chose to sacrifice His life for others.
Just as promised, God raised His Son Jesus back to life — eternal life — on the third day after His burial. He was seen by His closest friends and over 500 of His followers before He went up into heaven before their very eyes. After His resurrection, his close friend Peter told a great crowd to repent from their sins and believe in Jesus Christ to be saved, “for the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” This promise is for you! There are many religions and prophets, but no one but Jesus Christ offers complete forgiveness from your sins and eternal life with God. He has already died for your sins; now you must put your faith in Him. “For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you believe in Jesus, you can pray a prayer like this right now and receive the gift of eternal life.
Receive Him Now
“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Thank you for coming to Earth and dying so that I could have eternal life. Please forgive all my sins. I am going to follow You with my life now. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and direct my steps. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Peace of God
You might say, “I am good and I do no harm to anybody”, but the Word of God says our righteousness are nothing but filthy rags in the sight of God. And why is that? It’s because God is Holy. You have to acknowledge that however good you might be, there are still hidden sins in your life that we might be aware or unaware of. It is Sin (our sins) that separates us from God because He is Holy. In His Holiness, God cannot even look at sin. However, I have good news for you. God loves you, the sinner!
The same Scripture states, “For God so love the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”. Yes, God loves you and because of that love He was willing to send His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins so that we might have forgiveness. When He died, He took the penalty for our sins on our behalf! He covered our sins by His blood so that when God looks at us, He no longer sees our sins.
Think of that for a moment and try to see where you are right now in your relationship with God. Do you see him as a Force ready to punish you for every wrong doings? Or do you see him as a Father who loves you and cares for you? The choice is yours. He can be your Father if you accept by faith that what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross was for you. Yes, He died for you! All you have to do is pray and accept that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus is your personal Savior as He died for your sins. Invite Jesus to come into your heart and allow Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life.
Salvation is grace, a free gift from God, and it cannot be bought even by good works. If you can save yourself by being good, then Jesus Christ need not to come here and suffer the humiliating death on the cross. Believe and have faith in Jesus for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!
If you have prayed the prayer of acceptance, you have been born-again. As a newborn babe, you have to grow and be fed with the Word of God. So, it’s time to dust off your Bible and read and meditate on it. It’s full of treasure, you’ll see and let God speak to you through His Word. You can speak back to God in prayer and let Him know you love Him too!
Now, a little bit about me. Aside from being a blogger, I’m an Associate Pastor at Life In His Word Church. I’m a father of three children and a husband of one wife (thankfully). I’m also a transformed Christian and this is reflected in my writings for I love to tell the story of Jesus.
It’s my prayer that everyone who read this and my blogs would eventually receive the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior. He is your only HOPE. Ponder upon that, watch the videos below and get to know Him. It’s about time!
